HISTORY OF ESTABLISHMENT

HILAL products were launched in 1990 by Zinon Food Industry Enterprise. At that time, HILAL Multipurpose Seasoning was the first product to be produced on a small scale. Having received a positive response from consumers, the founder of HILAL and Zinon Food Industry Enterprise, Mr. Zinol A'bidin Bin Daud, was determined to further expand his business.

Thanks to the hard work of all parties involved, in 2007, Zinon Food Industry Enterprise was upgraded to Zinon Food Industry Sdn Bhd (774676-U). Since then, various research and development have been carried out to improve the quality and production of products. Zinon Food has also received recognition such as HALAL certification from the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), Safe Food Industry Responsibility (MESTI) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM). In addition, Zinon Food has also received various awards such as 5S Culture and Malaysian Made Products. In 2020, Zinon Food received the Muzakki Certification Certificate and the Sahabat Zakat Kedah logo from the Kedah State Zakat Board (LZNK) as appreciation and support for fulfilling business zakat requirements.

Now, Zinon Food has successfully produced 15 products under the HILAL and IMAN brands and has been marketed throughout Malaysia. Zinon Food intends to further improve HILAL products so that the HILAL brand can become a well-established brand in Malaysia.
